Free-form Sculpture
This class is for anyone interested in working with a variety of materials, from metal, wood, fabrics, plastic, plywood, MDF, cardboard – in fact anything that may be used to construct a 3-D sculpture where the idea will be to express any thought or concept, be it abstract or representational, figurative or modular...
It might be interesting to explore how materials that are used for conventional, everyday objects may be brought together in unconventional shapes and designs to form unfamiliar objects.
We shall bend, shape and join using hand and power-tools, screws, bolts, glue, string, wire – anything that works!
The class will be informal and fun, and nothing will be out-of-bounds!
